To Our Valuable Employs and Customers,
As our nation continues to feel the increased impact of Coronavirus, we would like to take a second to share with your what Midlands Mazda is doing to help keep you and our customers safe and healthy. Please be assured that we are not taking this virus lightly and have developed procedures we feel is in the best interest of every single one of us. We are and will continue to work with our local health officials and will do our best to keep you as up to date as possible as any news concerning COVID-19 (Coronavirus) surfaces. Keeping our amazing employees and customers safe is our top priority. Here are the steps we are currently enacting in response to the heightened awareness of coronavirus.
First, we will be ramping up the cleaning efforts at each one of our dealerships as well as our carwash facilities. We will be thoroughly cleaning our dealership daily, with sanitizing solutions used in the high touch, high-traffic areas (ASM Desks, Parts Counters, Finance Offices). We will assign individuals key areas that they are responsible for cleaning throughout the day, every day. We have been purchasing extra cleaning and disinfecting supplies so our dealership is able to thoroughly sanitize there store.
Second, we have asked our carwash (Mighty Wash Auto Spa) to wipe our XPT’s (Customer Pay Stations) and touchscreens repeatedly throughout the day with a solution of 30% water and 70% isopropyl alcohol (NO BLEACH). We will also be supplying the employees that interact with the touchscreen nitrile gloves to wear.
Third, we ask all employees who are not feeling well or who might believe they have been exposed to someone with coronavirus to please refrain from coming in to work. You will not be expected to come in if you are not feeling well. This is not the time to “try to push through it”. We are fully committed to the health and safety of each and every one of you.
Finally, we will be offering free of charge to all our employees a DrivePUR sanitizing treatment. This will allow our employees a chance to disinfect their vehicle. Usually, these treatments last anywhere from 3-6 months which we hope will get us through the worse of the COVID-19 spread.
